Tengizchevroil today announced that it has released its second biennial Corporate Responsibility Report.
“Tengizchevroil has been dedicated to incorporating the concept of Corporate Responsibility and sustainable development into all areas of our business from the very beginning of the joint venture. This report is an overview of our performance for our key stakeholders,” said Tim Miller, Tengizchevroil General Director.
The company’s second report reviews TCO’s programs designed to maintain world-class safety, health and environmental and corporate governance performance; as well as details on progress in the areas of local content, workforce development and community investment.
“Corporate Responsibility is not just about what we give back to our communities or our employees. Our definition of Corporate Responsibility includes our ethics, our environmental performance and how we collaborate with our employees, the government and our local communities. Therefore, Corporate Responsibility is extremely critical to our every activity, each day at Tengizchevroil,” said Anuarbek Jakiyev, deputy general director.
“Tengizchevroil has made a significant positive impact in the lives of our employees, contractors and surrounding communities through social infrastructure projects and programs amounting to more than $645 million,” said Rzabek Artygaliev, Tengizchevroil General Manager of Policy, Government and Public Affairs. “We are extremely proud of our accomplishments and we hope that our stakeholders enjoy reading this unique publication.”
TCO will debut the report at KAZENERGY and KIOGE and digital copy of the report is available for download at link below.
