ATYRAU, May 29, 2025 – Tengizchevroil (TCO) officially announced today upcoming changes to the company’s leadership team. Effective June 10, 2025, William Lacobie has been appointed as TCO General Director. He will succeed Kevin Lyon, who has served as General Director since 2021.
On May 26, 2025, a regular meeting of the Working Group on updating the Sectoral Qualifications Framework and Professional Standards in the oil and gas industry was held in Astana. The event brought together representatives from relevant ministries, industry trade unions, and oil and gas companies. It was organized by the Ministry of Energy with the support of the national company KazMunayGas, the Kazenergy Association, and Tengizchevroil (TCO).

These contracts were signed within the framework of the XII Forum of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan, which brought together more than 1,500 participants from 20 countries.
