A craft training course for unemployed citizens, implemented within the framework of cooperation between the Department of Employment Coordination and Tengizchevroil LLP (TCO), has been completed in Atyrau Oblast. The project has become part of measures to promote employment and the development of highly demanded working professions in the region.
An open year‑end event was held in Kulsary, where partners of Tengizchevroil’s Community Investment Program (CIP) and representatives of non‑government organizations shared the results of their work carried out throughout 2025. It is also worth noting that the year 2025 marked a milestone for CIP, as it celebrated 15 years since its inception in 2010.
On April 23–24, 2026, AtyrauGeo 2026 VI International Scientific and Practical Geological Conference, organized by the Kazakhstan Society of Petroleum Geologists (KSPG), was held in Atyrau. The event brought together around 250 specialists from more than six countries, as well as representatives of the Atyrau Oblast Akimat, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, KazMunayGas National Company JSC, the KAZENERGY Association, relevant industry organizations, and the scientific community.
