FGP-WPMP External Lender Relations

In July 2016, TCO Partners announced approval for the final investment decision of the Future Growth Project-Wellhead Pressure Management Project (FGP-WPMP), the next major expansion of the Tengiz oil field.

As part of FGP-WPMP project plans it is important for us to keep transparent two-way communication with our lenders. TCO is implementing a lender relations process to ensure that stakeholders will have ongoing opportunities to ask questions, comment and provide feedback.

Our focus is to keep an open dialogue with our lender base and timely respond on questions. In addition to the information found under the Company tab, we are happy to assist you with quick and reliable responses.

Tengizchevroil officially announces the appointment of the new General Director

ATYRAU, May 29, 2025 – Tengizchevroil (TCO) officially announced today upcoming changes to the company’s leadership team. Effective June 10, 2025, William Lacobie has been appointed as TCO General Director. He will succeed Kevin Lyon, who has served as General Director since 2021.

ATYRAU, May 29, 2025 – Tengizchevroil (TCO) officially announced today upcoming changes to the company’s leadership team. Effective June 10, 2025, William Lacobie has been appointed as TCO General Director. He will succeed Kevin Lyon, who has served as General Director since 2021.

Kevin Lyon has been appointed to a new executive role at Chevron Corporate headquarters. Under his leadership, TCO successfully delivered the Future Growth Project, and continued to play a leading role in supporting Kazakhstan’s growing petrochemical industry as well as the country’s domestic gas needs.

Today marks a new chapter - one that I pass on with full confidence to William Lacobie and the team to continue delivering value for Kazakhstan. I would like to thank the Government of Kazakhstan, TCO shareholders, our dedicated employees and business partners as well as the people of Atyrau, for the tremendous support and partnership over the years." said Kevin Lyon.

Over his 31 years of experience, William Lacobie has held numerous operations and leadership roles in Chevron Business Units in the USA, Angola and Indonesia. Since 2021, he served as Managing Director of Chevron's Southern Africa Strategic Business Unit, where he oversaw oil and gas production assets in Angola and the Republic of Congo, including the large-scale Angola LNG facility. In this role, William Lacobie was recognized for being an effective leader, who championed the development of the local content and the workforce as well as supporting the wellbeing of local communities.

TCO’s incoming General Director William Lacobie said: “I am honored to join TCO as General Director at such a pivotal moment in its history. The Tengiz field is one of the most technically challenging fields in the world, and our company will remain focused on safe and reliable operations and supporting Kazakhstan’s economic development. I am eager to further strengthen our partnerships with the Government of Kazakhstan, our shareholders, and the communities where we live and operate."
