The event was dedicated to the transition toward environmentally responsible development and  green economy. More than 300 participants from 30 countries attended the exhibition.

Tengizchevroil LLP (hereinafter — TCO) acted as a sponsor of RES 2026 EXPO and presented its environmental performance as part of the exhibition program.

In his welcoming remarks, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that “while remaining a major producer of oil and gas, our country is committed to sustainable energy goals.”

In its operations, TCO also adheres to the strategic course of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the national environmental policy, including the Taza Qazaqstan concept.

«Environmental protection is an integral part of TCO’s production activities. The company consistently reduces its environmental impact by introducing modern technologies and ensuring a high level of environmental control» noted Nurtas Kenganov, TCO General Manager of Operational Excellence, Health, Safety and Environment department.

TCO pays significant attention to sustainable development: nearly 50% of the water used in production processes is reused and 78% of waste is recycled. These results have been achieved through long-term investments in environmental projects, management systems and modern technologies.

TCO’s experience demonstrates that industrial development can be successfully combined with a responsible approach to environmental protection.
