The purpose of the forum is to identify market capabilities and potential suppliers of training services.

A forum of workforce training services providers is being held in Almaty, where over 60 companies participate. The event is organized by Tengizchevroil LLP. The goal is the study of market opportunities and search for potential service providers.

“Seminars and forums where potential suppliers first-hand learn about TCO's existing needs for services and work have become an effective tool for interaction both for us and for business” said Murat Mukashev, Deputy General Director of Tengizchevroil LLP.

According to him, this is not the first supplier forum organized by the company. Last year, TCO held similar forums for suppliers of IT services and facilities management, logistics and catering services. This format allows not only to study market opportunities and talk about TCO processes, but also to conduct B2B sessions with suppliers directly.

The Forum is also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, JSC NC “KazMunaiGas” and KAZENERGY Association.

During the event, TCO experts more carefully talked about the process of selection and pre-qualification of suppliers, the requirements presented by the company and the existing needs for training services.

As TCO's Human Resources Management representatives noted, constant staff training and development is a part of the strategy, as the result of which the share of Kazakhstanis in the company's staff has increased. Up to date, 89% of TCO staff is Kazakhstan citizens. In 1993, this figure was 50%. The share of Kazakhstanis among the Leadership Team has increased for 72%.
