In total, Tengizchevroil spent more than $2 million in 2019-2020 for Community Investment Program (CIP). The program aims to support social projects of local NGOs by providing grants on the basis of competitive bid.

The activities carried out in 2019 by Mangystau and Republican NGOs covered the areas of ecotourism, healthcare, education, social entrepreneurship and rehabilitation of people with disabilities. Recreation areas, playgrounds and sports grounds, mother and child rooms, rehabilitation centers, as well as leadership schools were established in the community as part of this program. In total, more than 20 thousand residents of Mangystau Oblast became direct and indirect beneficiaries of the Community Investment Program.

The company purchased necessary equipment and boats for national park “Kyzylsay”, built soccer fields in Borankul village, purchased robotics equipment for schools, and purchased musical equipment  for the House of Culture  in Kuryk village.
