The guests emphasized merits of oil workers and expressed their deepest gratitude to tens of thousands of current and former employees and especially to Tengiz pioneers, who discovered the field and laid the foundation for its success.

“When signing the agreement, immediately a clear task was given to ensure safe and uninterrupted oil production, make timely payments to the budget of Kazakhstan and ensure safety of employees. We are glad to see that TCO has been following its commitments for 30 years,” as mentioned by the RoK Minister Energy Almasadam Satkaliyev.

There are only a few oil fields in the world with reservoirs similar to Tengiz reservoir, in which gas injection is used as a method of oil recovery. High–pressure gas injection is a practice not only rare in Kazakhstan oil and gas industry, but also unique for Tengiz. TCO high-tech reservoir modeling capabilities make it possible to more accurately characterize the field, optimize production and maximize oil recovery.

Development of modern technologies today makes it possible to discover new oil formations that were previously considered unprofitable. The projects at Tengiz field are distinguished by special technological complexity, high safety requirements, scale and involvement of a large number of workers. These projects apply unique innovative solutions aimed at high-quality production growth.

TCO’s positive influence has gone far beyond domestic oil and gas industry and has spread to many areas of activity of society and the country, as well as to related sectors of national economy.

“Tengiz continues to be a jewel in the crown of Chevron’s global portfolio, and it is my great pleasure to be here today to celebrate this momentous occasion with all of you. As we look to the future, Chevron and its partners remain committed to providing whatever support is necessary to safely complete the Future Growth Project and integrate it into the base business,” said Derek Magness, Managing Director of Chevron Eurasian Business Unit.

Tengizchevroil workforce contribute to development of infrastructure, improvement of legislative base in subsoil use and business strategy, gave a serious impetus to qualitative growth of the level of healthcare, education, culture and development of civil society.

The enthusiasm, hard work and dedication of thousands of TCO employees is the most important asset of the company.
