Kazakhstan Energy Week – 2025: Tengizchevroil is the General Sponsor of the XVI Eurasian Forum KAZENERGY

On October 2–3, 2025, the XVI Eurasian Forum KAZENERGY took place in Astana as part of Kazakhstan Energy Week – 2025. This large-scale event in the energy sector brought together more than 300 participants from 50 countries. This year’s theme was “The New Energy Order: Focus on Middle Powers”, which includes the Republic of Kazakhstan — a country with a unique geographical position and tremendous energy potential.

Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Bektenov, read out a welcoming address from Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the forum participants: «We are implementing large-scale projects to strengthen the energy security and independence of our country. Our international partners make a significant contribution to this important work. Kazakhstan attaches great importance to attracting investment into the energy sector and enhancing its competitiveness. In this regard, our country, as a responsible middle power, is interested in strengthening ties with authoritative international organizations».

The forum also marked the 20th anniversary of the KAZENERGY Association.

Thanks to the innovative technologies and a strong commitment to safe and reliable operations, TCO was able to achieve more than 98% average plant reliability over the past decade alone (2015-2024), allowing the company to provide stable revenues for Kazakhstan.

And since inception, TCO has made direct financial payments to the country of over 206 billion UD dollars, thereby helping to fuel the country’s economic progress.
