Tengizchevroil LLP (TCO) has donated two intensive care ambulances worth a total of 225 million tenge to Zhylyoi central district hospital. The vehicles are designed to transport patients requiring emergency and intensive medical care.

The new Toyota Hiace ambulances are equipped with modern medical and resuscitation equipment to provide essential care to critically ill patients during transportation. They will enable the safe transfer of patients both within the district and to regional healthcare facilities.

“By investing in healthcare development, we are investing first and foremost in people’s well-being, the health of families, the future of children, and the sustainable development of the entire region. We believe these new ambulances will improve the quality and accessibility of medical care for district residents and mark another important step in strengthening regional healthcare,” said Nurmukhamed Kartabayev, TCO General manager of government and public affairs.

According to Asulan Nurbulanuly, director of Zhylyoi central district hospital, the hospital currently serves approximately 72,000 registered residents. Hospital specialists noted that the new ambulances will help reduce emergency response times and ensure the safe transportation of critically ill patients.

“The new ambulances will improve access to and the quality of emergency medical care, reduce response times, and enable the prompt and safe transfer of critically ill patients to regional healthcare facilities. We sincerely thank TCO for supporting this socially significant initiative,” said Asulan Nurbulanuly.

TCO continues to support the development of the healthcare system in Atyrau region. Since late 2025, the company has donated medical equipment and specialized vehicles worth approximately 4 billion tenge to healthcare facilities across the region, including 25 ambulances equipped with modern medical equipment.

Previously, TCO also purchased medical equipment worth approximately 18 million tenge for Zhylyoi central district hospital, including an automated donor plasmapheresis system and a specialized bed for burn patients.
